Ciara O’Connor Presents Research Poster at Eastern Sociological Society Annual Meeting

Ciara O’Connor ’22 traveled to the University of Massachusetts, Boston for the Eastern Sociological Society’s annual meeting in March to present a poster entitled “Perceptions of Campus and Municipal Policing among Women of Color.” The poster was based on findings from her thesis research with college women of color, funded by the Ethnographic Research Fund. Ciara will be heading back to Boston in the fall to begin a Master of Arts in Higher Education at Boston College, with an assistantship in Ascend, a women’s mentoring group. Congratulations Ciara!
