A&S Students are Recognized at 2022 Honors Convocation

A&S students received awards at the 2022 Honors Convocation Ceremony, which was keynoted by Harrison Bailey III ’95, principal at Liberty High School in Bethlehem and a proud A&S major! The winner of the Amanda Miner ’18 Award for Campus and A&S Department Leadership was Becca Scott ’22. The co-winners of the Carolyn Byington ’15 Award for Global Citizenship were Flor de Maria Selena Caceres Godoy ’22 and Congyi Chen ’22. Becca Scott and Bella Stoto were co-winners of the Paul Bernon Memorial Prize in Sociology. Flor also won the Posse Leadership and Engagement Award and Becca also won the Benjamin F. Barge Oratorical Prize and the David Fowler Atkins Jr. Prize. A&S major Mariatou Coulibaly ’23 won the Africana Studies Scholastic Award. A&S minor Gam Nguyen Pham ’22 won the Lafayette Alumni of the Lehigh Valley Scholarship Award and the Eleanor Winkey Prize. A&S Major Sharon Engel ’22 won the Cole Family Prize in Environmental Science. Congrats all! We are so proud of you!
