Please join us in welcoming to the department our newest assistant professor, Allison Alexy! Professor Alexy received her Ph.D. in Anthropology from Yale University in 2008. She is a cultural anthropologist with research interests in contemporary Japan. In the fall 2009, she will be teaching courses on “Gender and Pop Culture” and “Transnationalism.” We couldn’t be more thrilled to have Professor Alexy join us!
