– Service Above Self Award:  presented at the Aaron O. Hoff Awards ceremony in recognition of the individual or individuals who best exemplify the qualities of caring and concern for others in service activities.

–  Leroy D. Nunery ’77 Intellectual Citizenship Award:  presented at the Diversity Awards ceremony to a student whose research on important social, political or economic issues advances knowledge and involves the student in activities within a community.

– Otis Ellis ’89 Scholar Athlete Award:  presented at the Diversity Awards ceremony to a successful varsity athlete who has achieved an outstanding level of scholarship.

– Paul Bernon Memorial Prize in Sociology:  awarded each year by the faculty in the Department of Anthropology and Sociology to the graduating senior most outstanding in sociology, regardless of major.
