Last night at the annual pre-commencement Trustees’ Awards Dinner, Andrea Smith, associate professor of anthropology, and Caroline Lee, assistant professor of sociology, were recognized for their teaching and scholarly accomplishments. Andrea Smith won a Marquis Distinguished Teaching Award for her distinctive and extraordinary teaching, and Caroline Lee won a Thomas Roy and Lura Forrest Jones Faculty Lecture Award in recognition of her excellence in teaching and scholarship. Congrats to Professors Smith and Lee for their awards–they are well-deserved!
