The Emile Durkheim Society will be screening a documentary on El Dia de los Muertos. The video describes the history of the holiday, as well as explores the cultural traditions and rituals associated with the holiday. It also will give the viewers an in-depth experience of what El Dia de los Muertos is and show the attempt to conquer the fear of death by celebrating the return of the dead. There will be a short introduction given by Professor Brett Hendrickson of the Religious Studies Department and a Q&A session will be held afterwards.

Pizza and soda will be provided by HOLA.
